SAEPS Cooking Classes

Looking for a fun way to meet other parents, learn new recipes and enjoy delicious food? Join our Community Cooking Classes at St Albans East Primary School!

This year, we're excited to welcome Lynda, our Kitchen Garden Support Officer. After completing her Certificate III in Commercial Cookery at Kangan Institute in 2018, Lynda has combined her passion for cooking and gardening by creating delicious meals using fresh, seasonal produce. and is excited to share her knowledge with our school community.

Lynda has joined forces with one of our school's most familiar faces, Tina, who has been cooking with the St Albans East Primary School community for more than 30 years. Together, they bring experience, enthusiasm and a love of bringing people together through food.

Held every Wednesday from 10:00 am – 12:30 pm, our hands-on classes are a great opportunity to learn new recipes, build cooking skills, meet other parents and carers, and enjoy delicious meals together.

 This term's menu includes:

• 5 August - Crispy Noodles
• 12 August - Zucchini Quiche
• 19 August - Spring Rolls
• 26 August - Minestrone Soup
• 2 September - Beef Stir Fry
• 9 September - Orange Drizzle Cake

Join Us!

Our Community Cooking Classes are free for parents and carers of St Albans East Primary School students. All participants must hold a current Working with Children (WWC) Check.
